Decoding The Hidden Impacts of Missouri's Amendment 3
Amendment 3 annihilates Missouri’s hard-won protections for women, children, parents, families, and providers in the whole area of reproductive health care, including abortion. Women and children in desperate situations will be isolated from their families and doctors and delivered into the hands of those making huge profits on their abortions, who will also now be immune from suit if they harm their ’patients.’ If Amendment 3 becomes part of our Constitution, there is no going back, because Missouri legislators will have no remaining power to pass new laws protecting the most vulnerable Missouri citizens.
